Richard Bracewell is the founder and director of Viewpoint 360, a specialist sponsorship and marketing consultancy providing expert advice to both sponsors and rights holders, helping them to maximise the value of their partnerships.
Richard has a wealth of business expertise gained over 30 years including 19 years at Shell, where he held a succession of senior global management roles and served on the boards of Shell companies in a number of countries.
Between 2008 and 2015, Richard was Shell’s Head of Global Sponsorships, based in Switzerland, responsible for Shell’s sponsorship strategy and managing a portfolio of some of the most prestigious brand partnerships in world sport. This included Shell’s sponsorship of Ferrari in Formula 1, where Richard worked alongside the sport’s most famous and successful team, overseeing Shell’s technical partnership and developing and managing the award winning activation programme across the Shell organisation. Other notable highlights included the sponsorship of the Formula 1 Shell Belgian Grand Prix as well as partnerships with Michael Schumacher, Le Mans, Ducati, Goodwood and the Hyundai Shell World Rally Team.
Richard is a member of the European Sponsorship Association (ESA) and has been a regular media contributor and speaker at sponsorship conferences. He was named by The Paddock Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in Formula 1.
